Trust In You

De finale van het album, laten we even gaan zitten en alles nog eens op z’n plek zetten. De crisis is voorbij, de gierende emoties zijn getemperd, het stof is neergedaald. De hoofdpersoon heeft een nieuwe relatie gevonden of is terug bij zijn oude liefde en heeft hoe dan ook rust gevonden in zijn relatie. De basis van die relatie is wederzijds vertrouwen, een diep en waarachtig gevoel dat een goede basis is voor de toekomst.

In essentie is Trust In You een gooi naar de perfecte love song.

De basis voor Trust werd geleverd door Peter, die het pianothema en het leeuwendeel van de akkoorden schreef, en ook met de titel kwam. Dat alles was ruim voldoende om JeeWee’s creativiteit te triggeren en in no time met een complete tekst en schema terug te komen voor deze grande finale. De piano solo tilt het nummer op naar een heel ander niveau en als dan de Moog er onderdoor komt…

The finale of the album. Let’s just sit down and think everything over once more. The crisis has passed, the outrageous feelings have been tempered, things have settled. The main character has either found a new love or has returned to his old partner and has found peace in this relationship. The basis of this relationship is mutual trust, a deep and true feeling that is a firm basis for the future.

In essence, Trust In You is a shot at the ultimate love song.

The basis for Trust In You was delivered by Peter, who wrote the main piano theme and most of the chords. He also came up with the title of the song, which was enough to get JeeWee’s creative juices flowing to build up to this grand finale. The piano solo really takes the song up another level, and when the Moog blends in with the repeating piano riff…
