Live Poets Society have reached the final in the local amatuer arts contest "Het Beste van Wageningen". LPS plays on sunday afternoon, while being judged by no one less than master guitarist Harry Sacksioni.

In preparation of the new season of "De Revue van Nu" by De Zingende Decoupeerzaag (Adje & Theo), JeeWee has started recording new songs by Han Hazewindus (a.k.a. Theo). JeeWee and Hazewindus have been working together on e.g. Slegs vir Grootmense, Onderwaterwereld and other theatre productions.

Jeewee was asked to team up with singer-songwriter Jacques vd Wal and his musical coach James Ruchtie to help bringing Jacques'songs up to the next level. First performance has taken place sep 5th in Ede.

08/10/2008 JeeWee chosen in Guitar Player Magazine's Big Eight
Today JeeWee was chosen into "Editor Boy's Big Eight" by Michael Molenda, chief editor of Guitar Player Magazine. Every month, Michael chooses eight new guitarists worth listening to on Myspace.com.
Apart from some material prizes like a t-shirt and strings, JeeWee will be featured briefly in the December 2008 issue. GP Magazine is the world's #1 selling guitar mag - and also JeeWee's favourite for years already. Furthermore, two of his songs will be broadcasted on EB Radio, Ernie Ball's internet radio station.
